Our Approach

Understanding what drives behaviour is the starting point for changing it.

How people lead, work together and respond under pressure is shaped by more than knowledge or intention. Values, beliefs, assumptions, motivations, relationships and organisational context all influence what happens in practice.

Our role is to make those influences more visible — creating greater awareness, more conscious choice and the capacity to respond differently.

How we approach behaviour change

01 — Start With Reality

Understand what is actually happening.

We begin with evidence — diagnostics, data, observation and honest conversation — rather than assumptions about what the problem is. The aim is to see the current reality clearly before deciding what needs to change.

02 — Understand What Drives Behaviour

Go beyond what people do to understand why.

We explore the values, beliefs, assumptions, motivations and pressures influencing behaviour, particularly when intentions and actions begin to diverge. Understanding what makes a behaviour difficult is often as important as knowing what needs to change.

03 — See The System

Look at the environment around the behaviour.

People are shaped by the relationships, team dynamics, leadership behaviour and organisational systems around them. We help people see the wider system — including their own role within it — before moving too quickly to solutions.

04 — Turn Insight Into Change

Move from awareness to different choices.

Insight becomes useful when it changes what happens next. Reflection, experimentation, feedback and application help people translate greater understanding into different behaviour in the situations and relationships where it matters.

Transformation happens through participation, reflection and dialogue.

Meaningful development requires people to be part of the process. Seven Levels creates experiences that invite people to think deeply, speak openly and engage actively with the realities of their leadership, team or organisation.

Participation

Work with real challenges. Practise different behaviours. Contribute experience and perspective.

Reflection

Step outside the pace of everyday work. Notice patterns. Examine what influences how you respond.

Dialogue

Listen. Challenge. Explore different perspectives. Have the conversations that matter.

Psychology with a practical purpose.

Our work is shaped by ideas and traditions that help us understand what it means to be human — how we grow, make choices, relate to others and create the conditions for people to thrive.

Humanistic Psychology

Where much of our thinking began. We continue to be inspired by the work of Maslow and other humanistic thinkers — by the belief that people are capable of growth, meaning and fulfilment. We bring that same curiosity to our own lives and to our work with clients: what helps people become more fully themselves, and what allows them to flourish at work?

Behavioural Science

A fascination with why we do what we do. We are endlessly curious about the intentions, choices and actions that make us human. Behavioural science helps us understand how our minds work, why intention does not always become action, and how greater awareness can help us make different choices.

Systems Thinking

Seeing the whole, not only the individual. People are shaped by the relationships, structures and environments around them. Systems thinking helps us notice the connections, patterns and feedback loops that keep existing ways of working in place — and where change might begin.

Mindfulness & Contemplative Practice

Creating space to notice before we respond. Eastern contemplative traditions have long explored attention, awareness and presence. These ideas influence how we create space for people to slow down, observe their thoughts and emotions more clearly, and respond with greater intention rather than habit.

Together, these perspectives help us work with the whole person in the reality of the system around them — supporting greater awareness, stronger relationships, meaningful performance and a better experience of work.

Where the deeper work happens.

Time together creates the opportunity to slow down, think more deeply and work with what is actually happening — within the individual, between people and in the wider organisational context.

The work explores not only what someone might do differently, but what is shaping their current response and what may make a different response possible.

We create space for reflection, dialogue, coaching, feedback, challenge, experimentation and application, helping people connect insight to the situations and relationships that matter.
